Not the cheapest chain, and not the cheapest restaurant of each brand. The cheapest till for the meal you actually want — item by item, restaurant by restaurant, from each chain’s own ordering system.
As of 26 September 2026 · 50,875 restaurants across 9 chains. Pickup only.
Your location stays in this browser. A ZIP or a city name works if you would rather not share it. Start from an example, or type an item from the priced menu — only real items can go in the basket.
The cheapest restaurant for the example order sits on the map. Type a real menu item, then search a ZIP or city — the pins follow the basket.
Each row is a real basket at a real restaurant. The typical column is the median across every restaurant that sells the whole thing, so one airport location cannot set the story.

Build the order on a chain’s menu-prices page if you would rather tap items than type them — the planner there runs the same ranking. The cheapest items ranking is for one thing at a time; which chain is cheapest compares chains on a bottle of water, which is the one product they all sell identically. The rarest items ranking is coverage, not price: what few restaurants sell, not what they charge. Two restaurants of one chain, side by side, is compare restaurants.
These are pickup prices, read from each chain’s own ordering system. Delivery, app-only promos, and combo discounts the till does not print as a line item are not in the total. Tax is not either: it depends on the city.
The list is the restaurants we have priced — 50,875 of them, across Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Domino's, McDonald's, Papa John's, Popeyes, Taco Bell, and Wendy's — not every location those chains operate. A restaurant around the corner that we have not sampled will not appear, and we say so rather than inventing one. Restaurants rotate through about weekly, so some prices date from 3 September 2026 and some from 26 September 2026.
Items are matched by name after folding case, trademark marks, and punctuation. A size word is allowed to differ, so medium fries can stand in for fries; a Whopper Jr. is not treated as a Whopper. If a restaurant does not sell one of the items, it is listed as incomplete rather than ranked on a cheaper, smaller meal.
A chain we only score on nutrition, without store-level prices, cannot rank a restaurant and is not on this page.
